What personal information is collected and why
Comment
When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form and also the visitor’s IP address and the browser user’s user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymous string generated from your email address (also known as a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After accepting your comment, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
Library
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you write a comment on the website, the cookie will store your name, email address, and website address. This information is intended to help you not need to enter the information repeatedly when writing another comment. This cookie will be kept for one year.
If you go to the login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if the browser allows the use of cookies. This cookie does not contain personal information and will be removed when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set a few cookies to save your login information and display choices.
